This club ride takes you deep into the heart of the Peloponnese, unveiling a region of extraordinary beauty. Ride through majestic mountains, transition seamlessly between picturesque vineyards and olive groves, and immerse yourself in the timeless charm of traditional villages, each steeped in history and rich local culture. With Vytina as our base, perfectly situated for exploration, this ride offers an unforgettable experience in one of Greece’s most captivating regions.
Our bike ride begins in Athens, where we gather and travel together to Vytina. Upon arrival, the group shares a welcoming dinner, a perfect opportunity to get acquainted and prepare for the days ahead. The first ride promises to be an unforgettable one, following the historic trails of the Greek Revolution of 1821. This route takes us through the legendary villages of Dimitsana and Stemnitsa, whose roles in the revolution are woven into their character and charm. The terrain intensifies as we climb across Mt. Mainalo, through a serene fir forest, a breathtaking highlight of the region.
The final day offers a gentler pace, as we embark on a shorter, mostly descending route toward Tripoli. This city, has grown into a vibrant urban center while preserving its historical legacy. After the ride, the group gathers for a typical GrCycling meal, sharing local delicacies, reflecting on the journey, and celebrating new friendships.
This cycling journey is an ode to the Peloponnese, where every pedal stroke uncovers a story, a view, and an experience to treasure, until the next Club Ride calls us back for more.

Code of conduct
- During the ride, each cyclist should ride like being on their own, respecting all the road circulations rules and signs
- All cyclists should be in a position to be self sufficient (e.g. change a tube, indexing the gears). Also our group ethics expect the riders to act civilized (zero tolerance if they litter the environment) and promote the good conduct of this ride. Competition schemes are not welcomed.
- Our vehicles will be close to the riding group and will provide transfer or mechanical support on best endeavors terms.
Why everything in English?
