Cycling Adventure Through Andros & Tinos – A Spring Escape

This exclusive club ride will take you on a breathtaking journey through two of the most stunning Cycladic islands—Andros and Tinos—at the perfect time of the year for cycling. With the islands still free from crowds, we will enjoy peaceful roads, mild spring weather, and the opportunity to fully immerse ourselves in the landscapes, culture, and history of these beautiful destinations.

Friday, March 14 – Arrival & Welcome Dinner in Andros

Our adventure begins with a ferry ride from Rafina to Andros, where we will arrive in the evening. After settling in, we’ll enjoy a welcome dinner together—a perfect opportunity to meet fellow riders, share excitement for the weekend ahead, and go through a short briefing for the next day’s ride.

Saturday, March 15 – Cycling Through Andros & Transfer to Tinos

On Saturday morning, we set out to explore Andros, a truly unique island within the Cyclades. Unlike its dry and arid neighbors, Andros is characterized by lush greenery, crystal-clear springs, and towering mountains. The island’s picturesque villages, each with its own rich history and traditional charm, will be part of our route, leading us to breathtaking coastal views and quiet scenic roads.

Andros is not only known for its natural beauty but also for its artistic heritage, with famous museums and sculptures that enhance its cultural appeal. After an exhilarating ride through the island’s diverse landscapes, we will conclude with a well-deserved lunch at a local taverna before heading to the port for our afternoon ferry to Tinos.

Upon arrival in Tinos, we will check in and take a relaxing evening stroll through the charming town. Later, we’ll enjoy another group dinner, allowing us to soak in the island’s peaceful atmosphere and prepare for the next day’s ride.

Sunday, March 16 – Exploring Tinos on Two Wheels & Return to Rafina

Tinos is a hidden gem in the Cyclades, offering an unforgettable cycling experience. Known for its breathtaking natural beauty, the island features rolling hills, smooth coastal roads, and scenic routes that wind through traditional villages and olive groves. As we ride, we’ll take in spectacular views of the Aegean Sea, explore historical sites like the Church of Panagia Evangelistria, and enjoy the tranquility of this lesser-known Cycladic treasure.

After completing our ride, we will gather for one last lunch together before catching the ferry back to Rafina, bringing this incredible cycling adventure to a close.

Tailoring the Ride to Your Preferences

Both Andros and Tinos offer multiple cycling routes, allowing us to customize the ride based on the level and preferences of the group. If you would like to extend your ride or add more kilometers to the proposed routes, let us know in advance, and we will adjust accordingly to ensure the best possible experience for everyone.

This weekend getaway combines the joy of cycling with the beauty of the Greek islands, offering the perfect balance between adventure, culture, and relaxation. We look forward to riding with you!

Code of conduct

• Tijdens de rit moet elke fietser rijden alsof hij alleen staat, met inachtneming van alle verkeersregels en borden op de weg
• All cyclists should be in a position to be self sufficient (e.g. change a tube, indexing the gears). Also our group ethics expect the riders to act civilized (zero tolerance if they litter the environment) and promote the good conduct of this ride. Competition schemes are not welcomed.
• Onze voertuigen staan dicht bij de rij-groep en bieden overdracht of mechanische ondersteuning op de best mogelijke manier.
